For Sale is One (1) Antique Hardcover copy of “Through Judy’s Eyes”, written by E. Elizabeth Vickland. Copyrighted in 1923, and first printed in January 1924 by The Judson Press, Philadelphia, PA. The book is in very good condition, especially for it’s age. There is minimal edge wear present. The colors on the cover and the printing on front and spine are remarkably crisp and clean. The book binding is tight. The only problems observed occur in the first few pages of the book. On the second page of the Contents Section, and the List of Illustrations page, along with the top of page two, an enterprising child was busy with a purple crayon. Most of this was removed with Magic Eraser, but you can still see the purplish residual hue that remains. The other observed problem was a small (approximately 1/4″ x 1/4″) circular dark stain that appeared to start on page 5 but bled through on both sides. It becomes fainter, ending on one side at the second Illustration page, and on the other side at page 11. See the closeup photographs that document both of these problem areas. The text remains legible in both cases. There is also light tanning throughout the book. The book contains the impressions of a young American woman who traveled to Assam, Northeastern India, as a missionary affiliated with the World Wide Guild. Covers various aspects of missionary work and also gives her impressions of native life and customs. Please examine the photographs of the book to determine if it is suitable for your use. Sale is for One (1) Antique Hardcover copy of “Through Judy’s Eyes”, written by E. Elizabeth Vickland, as seen in the above photographs.
